Rhythm and melody are primary elements of music. Class begins with a hello song and proceeds to include interactive lessons using vocals and various instruments. Students in kindergarten through second grade begin their music education with the most basic of concepts. Singing, playing and reading rhythms are an everyday activity. Melody is explored by using whistles and vocal sounds. Instruments that play tunes going up and down and that skip and step are explored . We play all sorts of percussion instruments and move to the beat of so many songs.
